My focus for this week was to start on polishing the Game’s UI and starting to implement sound effects. I am receiving help from my Partner again for the latter.
On my end, I began adding animation to each of the Widget Blueprints. These mainly involve elements fading in and sliding into frame from the side of the screen.
While testing the game, I finally figured out how to fix an issue that had been persisting for several weeks throughout my development. The issue involved flying enemies being launched far further than non-flying enemies by the Bearer of Ambition’s abilities. I fixed this issue by momentarily setting the falling lateral friction of flying enemies to 75 before launching them, then back to 0 afterwards.
