Slip and Slime was my first ever Unreal Engine Project, developed in ~10 Weeks for my Solo-Design assignment in my Second Year of University.

Being my first Unreal Engine Project, this project was a steep learning curve, and a lot of the code is messy and inefficient.
However, that makes Slip and Slime a fun Project to come back to every so often. There's always something I can make a little smoother, or a little more efficient when I return to my first Unreal Project.
For example; I had endless troubles with Unreal's lighting while developing Slip and Slime, with it constantly making my Sprites look washed out. In a recent project, I found that this can be mitigated by turning off auto-exposure in the Project's rendering settings.
Much of the pixel art is incredibly amateur, which is why around 7 months after handing in the project, I went back to update the Player character (Slime) Sprite Sheets to make them slightly more expressive and clean.
Since then, I have periodically come back making it better bit by bit. Including paralaxed backgrounds and adding more Game-Feel-Enhancing elements, such as Camera lag and shake.
